For me it is the meditative, relaxed state I achieve when I am absorbed into the process of drawing. This comes after the initial planning and research, when I am beginning to feel the form of the drawing before me. I find myself developing a story for each person or creature, each building or vehicle. Pretty godly for a middle aged Mr. Average
